OUR CONTRACT
We will set prices based upon our knowledge and experience of labels and designers, we do not guarantee any prices. If you have a high end item which you feel you would like to work with our buyer on pricing, please let us know when you bring the item in. The Green Monkey boutique will add $2.00 to the consigned price, paid by the buyer, to help cover marketing,advertising and processing costs. Revisions will be made at the discretion of the store. Markdowns may be made after 60 days in the store or in the case of a defective item which was overlooked. Your items will be on the floor for 90 days.
At the end of the 90 days consignment period, you have 3 options:
1. You do not wish to retrieve your items and they can be donated to our current non-profit.
2. You can come into the store and find/collect the items yourself.
3. The staff can collect your items and have them ready for you to pick up for a $10 pick up fee.
Items become property of The Green Monkey if arrangements have not been made to pick up beyond the 90 days. Please give notice for pick up, at times we may ask for up to 2 weeks to collect your items based on business needs. Due to the incredibly large database of consignors we do not contact you regarding your items, or payouts . It is the consignors responsibility to note when the 90 days is up.The Green Monkey does not assume responsibility for items lost due to theft, fire or any other incident that may occur.
You receive 40% of the selling price of your items, for items priced over $250, you will receive 60%
Checks are issued on a monthly basis as long as your account has $22. Any balance under $22 is store credit only, which does not expire and can be spent at any time. All checks will be available for IN STORE pick up the 15th of each month- Anything sold through the 30th of the prior month would be included. We do not mail checks unless the consignor provides us with a self addressed and stamped envelope. Checks not cashed after 6 months will be forfeited.

GUIDELINES
Please no more than 25 items at a time. Items can be on hangers or folded carefully in a shopping bag , clean, unwrinkled and ready to be placed on the selling floor. Please do not bring in garbage bags, moving boxes or storage tubs/totes.
Items should be designer/boutique labels
Items should be cleaned before bringing in for consignment. Please look carefully for stains, holes, snags or pilling of items.
The Green Monkey will receive 60% and the consignor will receive 40%
*If any item is priced over $250.00 The Green Monkey will receive 40% and the consignor will receive 60%*
All checks exceeding $22.00 (there will be a $2.00 fee accessed to each check processed) will be available the 15th of each month- Anything sold through the 30th of the prior month would be included. Checks not cashed after 6 months will be forfeited.
Please understand, due to our large inventory, we cannot check on individual items that have sold over the phone. You are welcome to come into the store and check your inventory or go to www.myresaleweb.com to view your consignment activity.
We accept clothing by current trends and by season.
Purses and wallets- In Like new condition, must be authentic (We will not accept any knock off designer handbags or wallets)
We Consign items between 10-2 Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
The Green Monkey is consignment ONLY- we do not do any straight buying or trade.
If you choose not to donate your items at the end of the 90 day period, it is your responsibility to pick up your items or they will be donated to our current charity.
